INTECH worked alongside the Mantua Community Investment Center and the Miles Mack Recreation Center for this year’s Day of Service endeavor. The Recreation Center was selected because of its service to the community and the legacy of its namesake, Miles Mack, a local hero who ran after-school and basketball programs there for many years. He was committed to creating a safe place for neighborhood young people to go. The Day of Service projects included a new baseball field with covered dugouts, play area and basketball court repairs, installation of a kitchenette in the common room, landscaping, and painting of the Center’s exterior walls.
