The Kingsessing Recreation Center provides services to West Philadelphia community residents including job training, sports leagues, social and civic clubs, after-school programs, summer camp, and a safe gathering place for children to play.
The Center occupies two square city blocks and is surrounded on all four sides by residences. INTECH employees painted the fence that envelopes the recreation center, in addition to undertaking a general grounds clean-up. As part of a larger community project sponsored by UC Green and the University City District, the beautification project allowed INTECH to support revitalization in this community.
