The new construction of a five-story building for Temple University houses student services and the University President’s residence and ballroom. The work included a kitchen, mechanical room, classrooms, and office spaces as well as waiting areas. The south and east elevations of this structure are comprised of a 130-year-old brick façade, once the front of 10 Philadelphia rowhomes, making the critical factor in this work the careful stabilization and restoration of the existing walls.
