The 48th Street Recreation Center, located at 49th and Woodland Streets in West Philadelphia, houses numerous community activities including after-school programs, a mural arts program, ceramics classes, summer camp, a sprayground, and sports leagues (football, baseball, basketball). The Center sits at the gateway between West and South Philadelphia at the Grays Ferry Avenue Bridge.
INTECH cleaned and painted the interior of the entire center: offices, hallways, bathrooms, and work rooms, as well as exterior picnic tables and benches. Employees also performed general trash clean-up and weeding surrounding the center.
