Woodlynde School is an independent co-educational college preparatory school, serving students from grades K-12, located in Strafford, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1976, and located at its present campus since 1984, the school has made the decision to undertake their first significant facility upgrade since 1990. The campus entry drive will be regraded and improved with the addition of a new pick-up and drop-off canopy and arrival court. This work will also include a new surface parking lot with associated site work and landscaping. The existing East wing of the school building will undergo the most significant work. Mild renovation of existing school rooms will supplement the new construction of a large student commons (dining hall/ assembly space), six classrooms, offices, and a new kitchen and servery. The outdoor amphitheater will extend outward from the student commons. The school service and delivery entrance will be relocated, and a new loading dock constructed, to better serve the new building layout.
